Best Time to Adventure to Artist Point

The Pacific Northwest is known for its unpredictable weather, so timing is everything when planning an elopement here. The best months to visit are August and September, when conditions are most stable, and the views are unbeatable. For a quieter experience, opt for a weekday—weekends can get very crowded during peak season.

Pro Tip: Check road conditions starting in July to see if the top section of the road is open. This area offers the most spectacular views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan. Updates are posted on the web! https://wsdot.com/travel/real-time/mountainpasses/mt.-baker

Photographer’s Note:

While August and September are ideal, early October can also be gorgeous. Just prepare for colder temperatures and potential weather surprises!
