Megan and Alex’s wedding at Sunset Club was nothing short of timeless. Tucked into the heart of Seattle, this historic Georgian-style clubhouse brought an atmosphere of classic elegance to their day—tuxedos, long gowns, artful details, and a celebration rooted in over a century of tradition.
Sunset Club itself is iconic. Since its founding in 1913, the club has been intertwined with Seattle’s social and cultural history—hosting everything from wartime Red Cross work to lectures, arts performances, gala balls, and century-long philanthropic initiatives. Walking through its space, you can feel the legacy, the stories, and the sense of community embedded in every hallway. Today, it blends tradition with modern sophistication, offering beautiful reception spaces, impeccable service, and a culinary team known for crafting thoughtful, curated menus.
And for Megan and Alex, it was the perfect backdrop.
These two have one of those storybook romances that feels like fate with a sense of humor. They met 12 years ago at a New Year’s Eve party during their senior year of high school—where they shared their first “New Year’s kiss.” The night got a little chaotic (as high school parties tend to), and Alex ended up stranded, sleeping on the couch at Megan’s cousin’s house… only to be discovered the next morning by her very upset aunt. For years, her family joked about the “random guy sleeping in the living room,” having no idea it was the same person Megan would eventually fall in love with.
Six years later, after plenty of teasing, timing, and two families growing close, they finally told the truth—and eventually started dating. They’ve been inseparable ever since.
Their wedding day reflected exactly who they are: warm, elegant, joyful, and surrounded by people who have been part of their story for more than a decade.
